About Me

I am a second-generation Iranian-American, born in Providence, RI. I grew up in San Diego and Dallas, TX, and was inspired early by the potential of technology to change lives.

I pursued studies in cognitive science and computer science at UC San Diego, where my interests in machine learning, human-computer interaction, and design came together. My goal has always been to build technology that saves lives or meaningfully improves them.

Currently, I work as a Systems & Automation Engineer in Houston, TX. Outside of work I enjoy reading literature and manga, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, cooking, and playing chess.
